Mohamed Maachou is a qualified Mountain guide originally from the Berber area of Morocco and has worked for Exodus and Adventure Works for many years with both individuals and groups. In 1997 he graduated from the “Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing and Mountaineering” based in Oukaimeden and later on, he was graduated & certified from CFAMM. In addition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountains and elsewhere, he is also is qualified in first aid.
Mohamed is available to organize and host a range of various walking and non-walking trips all around Morocco. Guests will be brought closer to Mohamed’s own Berber culture which will leave them with a truly unforgettable experience. The large diversity of trips provided will cater for all sorts of people, from trekkers to sightseers.

How To Light A Fire Without Matches

Step 1.

Fluff the fatwood by scraping the stick with the edge of your striker. If a hunting knife is available, use the BACK of the blade to fluff.

Step 2.

Practice getting a spark to land on the pile of fluffed fatwood by using your ferro rod and the edge of your striker.

Step 3.

Direct the sparks to the top of the pile of fluffed fatwood by using your QUICK-FIRE and the edge of the Striker. (Or use the back of a blade)
