Hiking Trails in other parts of the world always amaze me as surf a bit and imagine traveling away from this frozen country to a warmer destination. Not that I don’t enjoy snowshoeing and other winter activities but sometimes the cold becomes tiresome, eh. I think finding some trails like this one near Hong Kong could be fun!
Where would you travel if you wanted to take a hike and really get away from your routine for awhile?

Dear Clayton Kessler,
I see that your “Thanks for the pic” on my blog was meant as an assumption of the right to use a picture.
You may use this picture if you include the following information on the mouseover title and the alt(ernative) title for those without graphical capabilities on their browsers.
“Image copyrighted by the author of http://e-cuneiform.blogspot.com and used with permission.”
Please amend the image accordingly or remove it from the site.
I am sure you mean no harm, it is simply very easy to lose copyright rights to the public domain if one does not keep up on these things. I am sure you would not have wanted to lose any ownership rights involuntarily to Campfire FX, before you sold it, or to this site, so I know that you will appreciate my concern.
A slightly fuller request to use images is appreciated. All the best, and your hobo stove looks very interesting.

Hello Mr. Sepiru Chris.
Thank you for the permission to use the copyrighted content above. More importantly, thank you for the hiking pictures near Hong Kong. I enjoyed your article and being able to see what that area really looks like. I have made the changes as per your request. Not sure if you noticed, but I also put a link directly to your blog as well in hopes it will be a little SEO payback for your blog.
Dear Clayton,
Thank you very much for adding the citation.
I had noticed the link, and I did appreciate it.
It’s not that I want to be a jerk, but if I don’t request it when I see it, then I immediately lose rights to the public domain, which I do not always want.
Did two great hikes this weekend on portions of the MacLehose Trail, which is sort of like Hong Kong’s version of Canada’s West Coast Trail, (in its iconic nature; it’s path is utterly different as it is not on the water’s edge; the MacLehose is 100km along the spines of mountain ridges and over various peaks). I don’t know when I’ll post them, it will be in a while given the current cache levels of content.
I very much appreciate your putting the citation up, and I very much enjoyed perusing your site. I, sir, will be back.
Tschuess,
Chris
Hey Chris,
Thanks so much for the kind reply. I appreciate the sharing of culture and hiking information of Hong Kong. The quality of writing you share through your blog is excellent and I will do what I can to promote your work. I will look forward to reading your blog and any information on the MacLehose Trail.
If you have a GPS, you may want to check out Google maps. They have made it so you can upload tracks to your own personalized map and then embed the maps into your blogs. I am creating a map for BC trails right now and and over time will have many GPS tracks uploaded to the one map.
