Site Description:Found on the northern shore of Crystal Lake, the recreation site is popular with campers and fishers. The site is RV accessible.

Driving Directions:From 100 Mile House, travel south on Hwy 97 and turn east onto Hwy 24. Travel along Hwy 24 for approximately 46.8km and turn right onto the Bridge Lake Business Route. Travel 0.8km to the Bridge Lake Store, and keep right onto North Bonaparte Road. Travel 2.2km and keep straight (start of the 2600 Road). Travel another 1.5km and turn left into the Crystal Lake Recreation Site.

How To Light A Fire Without Matches

Step 1.

Fluff the fatwood by scraping the stick with the edge of your striker. If a hunting knife is available, use the BACK of the blade to fluff.

Step 2.

Practice getting a spark to land on the pile of fluffed fatwood by using your ferro rod and the edge of your striker.

Step 3.

Direct the sparks to the top of the pile of fluffed fatwood by using your QUICK-FIRE and the edge of the Striker. (Or use the back of a blade)
