If you search Fort St. John in the Campground Directory on Tracks And Trails home page, you will find a new location for free camping thanks to Dan Marceau. A member of Kelowna Search and Rescue before he braved the north country to go save lives.
Dan says that you can camp for free on the Peace just east of the Taylor Ferry Rd bridge….(i guess there was a ferry before the bridge eh)
Now if we can get some pics of the area, it would be cool. So if you are looking for work and need a place to stay this summer, check out this campsite and enjoy the Peace. What should we call it? I didn’t find it listed in the Recreatin Sites and Trails guide so TracksAndTrails now names a new campground Dan Marceau Camp.
