Rick Mercer gets to do some amazing things, not only was this video funny as Rick always is, but I found it very educational. It is amazing at how small a black bear den seems to be! When out ssnowshoeing I’ve often wondered what a den would look like if I found one and how awake the Mom would be. Now I see that all you need is a snow shovel to protect yourself if the bear is aggressive. :-)
