Site Description: The campground is well off the highway – 4 miles of dirt road. Sites are in the trees and nicely separated. Pull throughs are long enough for motorhome and tow vehicle. Easy payment box system. Park is very clean and well maintained. Lake with boat launch is near campground loops. Town is close by. This is a great price, but you’re basically camping dry. Still, it’s a beautiful location and the campsites are very private. You’re far from the main road, so there’s no road noise, but it’s a long, slow drive to your campsite on a gravel road. You can dump for free at Wye Lake, a municipal park a few miles away.

Driving Directions: Watson Lake is the gateway to the Yukon, as it’s one of the first towns travellers encounter on northern road trips along the Alaska Highway.
