Nice location to camp. I wonder if it will be cold during the night.
I haven’t camped at Ahdatay but being that it is in the Mackenzie region – pretty far north in BC, I would say it would be cold. It’s elevation is just above 900 meters but regardless of the elevation, when you are that far north one can expect cool temperatures regardless of the season. Having said that, I have swam and in the lakes just south in the Ft. Saint James area in August and it was quite pleasant. I would be more worried about the bugs at Ahdatay than the cold…probably lots of no see ums. 🙂
