Christina Lake and Texas Creek Provincial Park Camping

Christina Lake can be located by driving East from the Okanagan on Highway 3 (via Highway 33 or Higway 97) and watching for the community of Christina Lake a short distance past Grand Forks, B.C.

By entering the community of Christina Lake on left side of the highway, you will be able to find accomodations, beaches and shops at the South end of the Lake.  By pasing through the community and traveling up the hill you will see the signs for Gladstone Provincial park and then the sign for Texas Creek Provincial Park.

The best place to lauch a canoe would be at the public boat lauch located on McRae Road just before teh Texas Creek Provincial Park Campground.  There are private campgrounds at the South end of the lake as well as the  Texas Creek Provincial Park Campground.  If you backpack in from the north or boat in to the West side of Christina Lake, you can take advantage of the Granby Park Forest Recreation backcountry campsites.  Each has a semi private beach and outhouse.
