Reach to Wolfe Lake – Fundy National Park you can start from Moncton then take the 114 to Alma or the 2 to the 114. From St. John take the 2 to the 114 into the the park. This park is about to 80km from Moncton. You can go there and enjoy swimming but remember it is not a serviced site.
Note: The campsites are grassy and open. There is no water. A bookstore is located at the nearby day use area.
You can enjoy four front country campgrounds and a group vamping area. It is good for backpackers who can take advantage of the innumerable wilderness campsites in the park. In the southwest the park trail system connects into one of the most beautiful (don’t forget difficult) long distance, coastal trails in Canada, the Fundy Footpath. In the northwest the park has a link to another long distance trail, the Dobson. The campground is located at the northwestern entrance on highway 114.
