Site Description: Willow Rock Campgrounds will fulfill all demands for large group and RV campers. It is a well equipped campground situated in Bow Valley Provincial Park. This campground has two sections, one being very near to the Trans Canada 1A highway is very noisy and another being close the Kananaskis River. There are some simple hikes that can be entered from the campground. You will need a fishing license to catch Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Whitefish in the Kananaskis River.
Driving Direction: Located at 25 km east of Canmore on highway 1 and .5 km north on highway 1, Kananaskis AB. and 40 minutes west of Calgary. The campground runs along with the Trans Canada 1A highway and the Kananaskis River.
