Site Description: This is a beautiful park with a big sandy beach, with rocky stretches and a rock island to swim to. There are 2 wheelchair accessible sites. There are custom wooden signs at the entrance, advertising the various trails. There is oak in the forest mix. Reservations are accepted. There are tenting pads, sites are on grass, varied as to openness or shade. Some sites have tiny flower gardens in the tree stumps. Most are good-sized, some secluded, others clustered. Shared power poles. Canoes can be rented and barbecues are available for group use.
