Site Description: Northumberland Provincial Park situated on the shore of the Northumberl Strait. The park offers a fantastic woodland setting for camping and warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas. There is an excellent hiking trail leads you to an unsupervised beach on the Northumberland Strait. There are also a number of walking and hiking trails such as Amherst Point Bird Sanctuary as well as wonderful beaches in the surrounding area. Leashed pets are permitted in the park.
