Site Description:Free Camping at Lakit Lake in Rocky Mountain is a small, partially treed recreation site on a shallow, man-made lake. Evidence of an old corduroy road on the lake bottom.
Driving Directions:Commencing at the Fort Steele Historic Park, proceed north on Hwy 93/95 for 1.6 km then turn right onto Holmes Road & continue north on Holmes Road for 5.3 km then turn right onto Brewery Creek Road and follow this rough, two wheel drive road for 4 km and the recreation site is on the right and visible from the road.
