Site Description: Ellenwood Lake Provincial Park is nestled between two lakes in the heart of southern Nova Scotia, this 280 acre park provides enormous outdoors facilities. The calm beauty of nature is evident everywhere. The shoreline holds some of Nova Scotia’s uncommon plants and the lakes have both speckled and brown trout, Atlantic salmon and chain pickerel. The parks also offers 1.5 km of hiking trail for hikers of all ages and hosts a wide diversity of plant life, animals and birds.
Driving Direction: Ellenwood Lake Provincial Park is located just 19 km northeast of Yarmouth and 1.6 km south of Deerfield. Exit 34 off Highway 101, proceed 6.5 km along Route 340. Follow signs to the park entrance. Civic address is: 1888 Mood Rd, Deerfield.
