- Virtual Outdoor Adventures
Virtual Outdoor Adventures creates Digital Guidebooks for Outdoor Adventure Locations and Tourist Destinations. Our products are sold in DVD-ROM format or as internet downloads. Virtual Outdoor Adventures was founded by Steve Chapman Coquitlam, BC in Jan 2008. Our products are inspired for the need for outdoor guide products that are all encompassing (navigation grade maps, rich photographic content including panoramas, detailed descriptions, GPS support, integration of local businesses/amenities and customized route planning). Our route definition capabilities allow our customers to plan their own route through an area and create a custom trip plan – therefore letting them be their own tour guide. This effectively means there are hundreds of possible routes in one particular title. Trip plans can be printed to paper or output to mobile devices for convenience. - Site name: Nepal trekking | Trekking In Nepal | Peak climbing in Nepal

After a long wait at the Kathmandu airport and an exciting landing at Lukla, we’ll emerge from the plane to a throng of Sherpas porters, hotel touts and trekking- company representatives clamoring for our attention. Nearby will be a group of trekkers clutching their boarding passes waiting to board our plane for the return flight to Kathmandu. Behind a fence will be the mournful faces of those who did not get a seat on this flight. If we arrived by helicopter, hide behind a building when it takes off or we’ll get a real dust bath.
If we are trekking with a group, our sirdar should magically appear and hustle we off for tea while the sherpas organize things for trek. Most trekking companies do not make the final preparations for the trek until they actually see the trekkers get off the plane. If we are our own, we can retire to one of Lukla’s numerous hotels to plan our next move.
