Site Description:This small site is rustic and remote, but the hotsprings lure all kinds of people to this unique place. Tables, outhouses and fire rings on site. Steep trail to natural hot springs and sand pools, beside Sloquet Creek. Campsite is very popular on long weekends. The area is busy with industrial traffic, drive carefully.

Driving Directions:Travel to approx. 76.5 km on the In-shuck-ch Forest Service Road (also known as Lillooet lake road, West), which runs along the lower Lillooet river, just North of Harrison Lake. You can also get there in a 4×4 via the Harrison West FSR which takes you North along Harrison Lake. Between 76 and 77km, a road takes off just North of the bridge over Sloquet creek. Take this road for approx. 9km, and take the left fork at approx. 9km. A sign board on the left welcomes you to the site.

    • Hey Johnny!

The drive to the hotsprings is going to be awesome and judging by the pictures I saw of the springs the soak will be mighty fine! After your trip, please post a picture here via the “Share Outdoor Pictures” tab above – just add Sloquet Hot Springs in the name of the picture when you upload it. Actually any backcountry camping pictures would be great to have uploaded.

Here is what I found out:

From this Forest Road Service Ministry website you will get the name and contact of a couple of forest rangers in that area as well as any recent road warnings etc for road conditions. I did not phone the numbers now but I have phoned other ministry contacts and had excellent luck in finding out back country information.
